KM Law Clerk Casey Duhart Receives National Scholarship & Becomes Editor-in-Chief of Tennessee Law Review
KM would like to congratulate our Law Clerk and third-year law student at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Casey Duhart, who is one of only two recipients nationwide of a prestigious diversity scholarship. The 2015 Law Student Diversity Scholarship from the Defense Research Institute (DRI) provides $10,000 toward law school expenses.
Duhart was also elected by her fellow members of the Tennessee Law Review student staff to serve as the 2015–2016 editor-in-chief. She will be the first black editor-in-chief of the publication, which was first published in 1922 and is the oldest legal publication in Tennessee and the oldest law journal at UT Law.
She is a recent graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association's Diversity Leadership Institute and is the Vice President of the University of Tennessee Law Women student organization.
