Kevin Escalona is developing his practice across the Firm's Employee Benefits, Pension, and ERISA, Real Estate, Business and Corporate, and Civil Litigation and Appeals groups. He is focused on building his expertise in FHA-insured and other real property transactions, business and corporate law, employee benefits, and civil litigation.
Kevin is committed to building strong relationships with clients through consistent and transparent communication. He takes a diligent, straightforward approach to advising and advocating for clients, helping them navigate complex litigation and transactional matters with clarity and confidence.
Kevin Escalona was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2024 and is an active member of both the Knoxville Bar Association (KBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA).
While attending the University of Tennessee College of Law, Kevin concentrated on advanced studies in complex transactional and property law, with coursework in real estate finance, corporate finance, tax, and securities law. He further prepared for practice by serving multiple semesters in the Transactional Legal Clinic, where he earned recognition for assisting clients on a wide range of issues, including intellectual property filings and corporate governance.
Outside of his legal career, Kevin enjoys fly fishing, watching college baseball and football, coaching youth baseball, and spending time with his family and friends.
Kevin Escalona graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2024. Before pursuing his legal studies, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tennessee in 2020.
During law school, Kevin distinguished himself by winning The Closer, recognized as the nation’s most challenging transactional law competition.
